Juniper Communications is a Tokyo-based company offering professional English writing and editing services, bilingual communication services (J→E translation, AI translation checking), and seminars on India and India-Japan relations in fluent Japanese by an Indian expat who has lived in Japan for over 20 years.
Originally from India, Usha moved to Japan after majoring in Japanese and becoming a bilingual professional. She has lived and worked in Tokyo as a Japanese-English translator, writer, and editor for over 20 years now. She speaks fluent Japanese, English, Hindi, and Tamil, and has a deep understanding of both India and Japan on many levels.

2008: Translated Osaka Go's Naoki Prize-winning historical novel Kadisu No Akai Hoshi into English for commercial publication as The Red Star of Cadiz by Kurodahan Press
2015 – 2018: Wrote feature articles for the NTT Group’s global internal magazine (via agency). Interviewed C-level executives across domestic and international subsidiaries and produced in-depth feature articles showcasing the critical challenges of major initiatives and the innovative cross-company collaborative solutions that overcame them and earned these projects the prestigious NTT CSA Award.
2021: Translated a comprehensive textbook exploring the economic implications of fintech (blockchains, crypto assets, AI, and financial systems) by Keio University economic faculty and leading experts in policy and industry for academic publication by Springer as The Economics of Fintech (uncredited)
